Well, well, well March. You slipped away yet again. I cannot believe it’s April and I don’t care if that’s dumb to say. No one can believe it’s already April. The same way no one could believe it was March, or February…
So here we are. And what a month it’s going to be! But first, let me catch you up to speed.
In March I…
Quit my full-time bakery job
Amped up my gig work
Completed my TEFL certification
Started learning the ropes of HR
Negotiated my first rate increase
Hit the road for a month
Saw Masayoshi Takanaka in L.A. (I’ll never get over it)
Explored 3 new national parks
Encountered much more snow than I thought I would!
Sound chaotic? Don’t worry, it is! (she says, smiling painfully)
And yet, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Sure, I may be taking home less than half of what I made at my minimal-wage job. And sure, in this economy that’s synonymous with hitting the “Self Destruct” button. But in ways I don’t feel like getting into right now, I am more at peace than ever before. And I think I’m going to make ends meet, and I believe I’m going to be okay no matter what. And I’m still seeking out new opportunities and adventures!
All this to say, March was great and very transitional.
We are still currently on the road back north. California continues to inspire and surprise me in so many ways. I’m always grateful to feel at home here.
Coming up we are…
Spending a couple of days in Sacramento
Then in South Lake Tahoe
Then scheming the rest of our drive

These are the ~vibes I’m trying to curate for this month! I’m envisioning warm, sunny tones in anticipation of rainy Seattle skies later this month.
Warm, earthy tones inspired by my time in California. From the golden rocks and sagebrush of Pinnacles to the red bark of the Sequoias. I want to take it home with me!
Peep the beaded necklace— I’m hoping to get back into some creative pastimes like jewelry-making now that I have the time.
I’m in the full hustle mode. So praying for good fortune and opportunities over the next few months!
Healthy meals, time outside, and the like!
In April I’m striving for simplicity, minimalism, and creative inspiration.
